It's up to you if that is the way you want to sleep train. Me personally I layer with my boys until they fell asleep and then put them in their beds or I would just stay in the room until they fell asleep it was tough and I think most methods are but it's up to you. I couldn't handle the crying it makes me really anxious so I just had to do what was best for us. Good luck to you

When we did this with our daughter it was amazing how well it went. The first night is the worst. My daughter started sleeping twelve hours at night and she was so much happier! It's so hard to do but so worth it. With my little one it did not work to go back in the room. Once we put her down we stayed out of there and watched her on her nanny cam.

It's called the cry-it-out method. Find a sleeping method that works for you.
