Ugh right! I freaking got two puppies right when baby turned 6 weeks 🙄

I know it's hard I had a beagle that I got when I was in 4th grade and he just died last summer and I was 24

My favorite pet I've had yet was my shitzu he was my bff seriously and they live for like 17 years there really good dogs. Very protective tho so company may not like them 😂

Ahhh idk about a snake haha I had a newt once that I caught in my grandmas pond which was pretty cool I took it to school for the class pet

Hermit crabs are cool too I had some when I was younger the thing is they can't be alone because they will die I guess (that's what the lady at the pet store told me) which is funny to me because the word hermit is usually a word to describe a line

They have little pellet good things at the store but they do love fruit and veggies

I agree with @cocoa, guinea pigs always seemed like fun I've never had one but there like the middle between a hamster and rabbit

get a guinea pig, they are easy to take care of, groom themselves, I was bitten once by my one when he was a baby but it was more like a nibble and didn't hurt, if you trim their nails then they don't hurt either

I've never gotten bitten by a rabbit I did get bit by my hampered tho! And yes they have dwarf rabbits. And they also have floppy eared rabbits (they are the cuties my opinion) I think they are a lot of fun and mine always stayed in the house. You can keep them out side but I feel like they are more wild when you do that

Is there different types of bunnies? Even if I was considering buying her one I don't know anything about them and the pet fishies I had once died 😩 I don't want it to bite her if she tries to hold it ya know she's 5 so around that age they don't know any better lol @carann112,

I did a report on bunnies in school and they actually aren't good pets for kids, especially younger kids, because they don't want to be held/touched much. @nessairieray
