Is it normal to have some breast discomfort? I say discomfort cause it's not necessarily painful just uncomfortable. It was leaking clear colostrum for a bit but now it's not and I feel a bit of pain behind my nipple. I just want to make sure I'm not gonna get a infection before I even start breastfeeding.

Probably lol. It's uncomfortable too but not as much as the other one. Thanks so much 😊 @nmoreno

I don't think so. Pumping us dangerous until after baby's born.. Try putting a hot rag on the one that nothing's coming out of and then try again. Don't over do it though. Maybe that breast just doesn't have anything in it yet lol

@nmoreno is there another way to get it out? If I squeeze one some comes out but the other nothing will come out and I squeeze it a bit hard. Not too much too hurt just enough that I think something should of came out

I've been doing it & nothing bad has happened. I don't squeeze out a lot. Just 2 or 3 drops.

I'm scared to squeeze them. On my other mom forums they say all sorts of things can go wrong if I mess with them too much @nmoreno

I think its just pressure from all of the colostrum in them. I get pains like that too. Sort of feels like milk is gonna shoot out any second. My midwife says its fine to squeeze out a few drops from each breast by squeezing your areola to relieve pressure. No pumping or real deal hand expression though because it can induce labor.
