Having 2 months and half baby.
Q1. Do u guys shift bottlefeeding with ur partner?
If so, what time?
I'm currently not working, but he's working.. I tried to do all by myself as much as it's possible.
I feel kinda weird feeling maybe because of lack of sleeping
Q2. When do u guys start sleep training?
I wish my baby sleeps full time at night ASAP
@doo778, no do what you think your baby is ready for we put him in a routine right away! Once his umbilical cord fell off he had baths and we have the 4 b's bath bottle book bed! So every night we start the routine at 7 and he is in bed at 830 and is up the next day at 9! And his naps are the exact same ...1-230 and 6-7
My husband works as well, but I do ask him to help me a little bit here and there. It's minimal work though, I do most of the overall work with the baby and around the house.
My babe started sleeping through the night on his own at 2 months when I introduced him to the pacifier, so I don't really know much about how to sleep train a baby lol.
@sk216, ya I tried bathing him too.. He's already too heavy(7.5kg) to bath everyday though lol
@lisa_gandy, thanks. My hubby does that too after 5 or 6am n leaves at 7:20
@doo778 my pediatrician said we can start some type of routine when she turns 6 weeks so next Tuesday 3/14/17
@doo778 My boyfriend has two jobs so I take care of the baby by myself on those days so he can rest when he gets home but on the days he has off he is SUPER helpful! He will wake up with her during the night so I can rest up before he was to go back to work.
My boyfriend and i have always tried to shift with the feedings. Since he was working and i wasnt i always did the nights anyways. As far as sleep goes, try to get the baby on a routine. For my daughter I gave her a bath every night at 7:15 then we would relax after and I would start putting her to bed around 8. It seemed to help because she began to realize that after bath was bedtime. Hope this helps a little. I know this is a rough stage
@sharonpaige13, thanks for comments! It's helpful! Should I wait till 6 months 😂
We shift from the beginning he worked and I stayed at home for the past 9 months and I make him help because it is his child and he needs to be involved...I never had to do sleep training though at 4 weeks he just started sleeping through the night on his own but my pediatrician recommends at 6 months old when they are on baby food and are able to have fuller stomach longer
From the research I've done it varies but somewhere between 4-6months for sleep training. Go with your instincts though.
