Hey mamas! My little one has just turned 7 months we have been weaning since just before 6 months (puréed spoon feeding) and he was doing great but started refusing anything from the spoon and getting upset so we're now giving the baby led weaning a go....oh the mess lol! He doesn't really eat any of it though, did your bubbas get fussy when weaning and then take to it again? I feel like he should be eating much more now. Other than that he's a happy little dude 💙
Ah that's good to hear thanks @mrsmowmow sounds just like my little man he would eat everything then only the sweeter stuff like porridge but now won't even take that. I thought baby led weaning would make the whole feeding/high chair experience a bit more fun for him but it does make you worry about calorie intake 😱 I'm sure he'll get there and for now I'll just enjoy watching him make a mess xx
My son is 14 months tomorrow and we can hardly get him to eat solid foods on his own. We want to wean him off formula by 18 months and have been trying to get him to snack on small finger foods and he mainly just plays with it or throws it off his tray. Sometimes he will eat it if we give it to him but most of the time he shakes his head no. Any ideas or tips on how to get him more interested in eating? He will eat yogurt bites and cherrios on his own but that's about it.
Idk if this is a little to harsh but my stepson is 2 and 7 months now the time outs are not working so I stepped it up a little and decided to take all toys away and tv away for whatever he has left of the day till bed time. Gets it taken for hitting us or throwing toys or kicking... He kicked me right in the mouth last night so he didn't get his toys till after nap and no cartoons and thats around 4pm is this to much??
Baby sleep
Now to get stoned and watch scary movies while eating cereal 😊😊
Well deserved 👌🏽
HELP!!!
I've been exclusively breastfeeding since birth (6 months) & I'm now starting my little boy on solids which he is doing fine with but, my problems is getting him to take a bottle. I mean it's not really a problem, I just want to get him to eat from a bottle now that he's getting bigger. I have the Avent bottles & I don't think he likes them...
I know weaning him won't be super easy either way but I just need a little advice from you mommies on what and how I should do it. TIA 😘
I have a question for the mommies on here; My little boy is 7 months and he's eating solids but the downside is when he eats he may take 2 to 3 spoonfuls and then he's done. He barely eats, he just wants to chew on the spoon mostly. How can I get him to eat??
Dont worry too much about how much he's eating. Weaning 6months to 1yr is all about them trying & exploring new foods. There's not a certain amount they should be having as milk is still their main source of nutrition. By 1yr they're usually eating a more balanced diet. But to be honest children are constantly going through phases of eating/ not eating even when their older! Lol
