Dear ladies, I've been on the app for a while but this is my first post. I would appreciate your advice. This is my daughter Anna, and she's been a very decent baby up to this point, as soon as she reached 8 weeks she started to sleep for 8-10 hours. Once she hit the 4 months mark though she started to wake up like a newborn..I know there is supposed to be a sleep regression but I feel drained and was wondering how long it takes and if there's something I can do about it. How did it go for you? Thanks in advance!

@sara-lou, getting an idea of how much it may last somehow makes it more bearable, although I know each baby is different. Thanks a lot!

The 4months sleep regression lasted 3-4weeks with both my boys. There's nothing you can do to stop it or make it go quicker. But try to stick to normal routine. Try not to start any new habits as it'll be x10 harder to stop them after this regression. It's tiring but it won't be forever!! Lol

Thanks @jo.wilcox, good to know it happens. I guess I took the quiet nights for granted. I'll try to stick to the routine then and hope she snaps back into the nice pattern.

Charlie goes through phases like this. The last month or so he's started to sleep through the night, but last week he randomly decided to wake at 1 am, 3 am and 5 am all in one night.. I try to just stick to the same routine and bed time with him. His bed time is usually 8:30 but the last week he's been a sod and not going to sleep until 11:30 but I've still been giving him his last bottle at 8:15 and have him in bed by 8:30.. it's super draining when they're up all hours and you just want hat 'me' time at the end of the night but it's just something you've gotta ride out unfortunately 😩

@chesscalouise2, yeah, she sometimes rolls from tummy to back but I'm not sure she does it on purpose..
