Ok yall probably won't know the answer but....

I go in to have a c-section on the March 23rd, and my insurance cuts off April 1st.

Now I know babies are covered for a month, but what about my post operation visit? Will they cover me?

Of course I have back up insurance but I'm not sure if it will kick in in time for my appointment. I'm pretty sure it'll take about 30 days.

There will be someone (usually) coming around from medical and you can file for emergency medical to cover the hospital visit and the twins if need be! I have a private insurance but I signed up for emergency medical then moved it over to medical as a secondary and it took care of everything for my daughter and myself

For C-Section you have a 2 Week follow-up appointment to check the incision and then another one 4 Weeks later (6 Weeks Postpartum). Those are automatic if everything is going well with no complications.

@allyk.xmommy it doesn't in my particular case.

I'm trying to keep my care up under a specific private hospital/doctor. and the only way to get insurance "B" to cover me at this hospital/doctor , I have to cancel insurance "A" or just wait for insurance "A" to cut me off(which they are on all April 1st)

@mommy2benntley I hope it's 8 weeks that would be perfect. I'm just reading what it said online which could be inaccurate.

Depends where it's from your back up insurance may cover up to when you applied but for a c section I think you don't go in till 8 weeks after I could be wrong though

Usually insurance goes back 3 months. So the new one should cover. You can call your insurance company and make sure

Short Luteal Phase?

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

joanne_178 That's a relief that your principal is ok with everything, makes it much easier if she's been
