Why do college books have to cost so much. Literally one book cost me $291.42. Dang book is more than my car insurance, renters insurance, bed payment, diapers, and gas combined. Good thing I am under a military student because my husband was in the Army, so I get all my books for free and shipped to overnight for free. I always thank my husband for serving or I would be paying a fortune for just books alone.

I get all my books for free. I just go to the online book store click on the book I need pick the type of shipping I want and have it sent to my door. @js_kidsmom, @ltsdiaries,

Oh I have a lot of student loans out. Yeah I get free books and a small discount on my classes but I'll be paying loans back for a long time after I've graduated. College is expensive. @ciraclesmiracle,

@babynessa i pay my books with the student loans except I have the option to shop some where else that way I don't owe them a lot.

@babynessa, I've never worked in my field of study, but at least having a degree opens doors. I'm sure it's worth it, but it sucks that it's so expensive!
