My daughter has a bad cough with what sounds like a lot of mucus, should I take her to the hospital or just wait to see if she gets better ?

My daughter was coughing a lot too. I took her in and she tested positive for RSV, she only had a really bad cough with like a lot of mucus

It's a respiratory virus, you should take her in so they could check her oxygen levels and do some tests. Maybe it's just a cough and they can prescribe her something
