My doctor at 11 weeks did the Maternit21. (I'm also 37 - don't know if she would've given it to me had I not been 35+). Maternit21 is a non-invasive blood test that checks for genetic abnormalities and also tells you the gender of the baby. CVS is an invasive procedure I don't think they do that until they find cause from one of the non-invasive tests.
