Harriets 4 week old tomorrow and i still cant seem to get into a proper routine with her and charlie? Just been late getting poor charlie to nursery again 🙈 Skyes not an issue she takes herself off to school with her mates (and its also uncool in secondry school to have your mum take you) Have any mammas on here got any tips to help me get into more of a routine? Im not used to having 2 little ones and i like a routine x

I found getting up just half an hour earlier made the morning a lot smoother. I then had the time to get myself ready before focusing on the kids. I have everything organised the night before like Ellis' uniform and bag and whatever Lola will be wearing. Lola is used to waiting for her breakfast until we get home from dropping Ellis off at school. I give Ellis hos breakfast whilst im getting lola ready. Luckily i live about a 2 minute walk from school. I also dont allow any kids tv after 7:45 as they get to distracted.

Yeah similar here. I make sure bags are packed & clothes to wear for the day are out ready the night before. In the morning I just get myself & the boys dressed as soon as we're up. Usually myself & Max first while Morgan's still asleep or playing. Breakfast once downstairs. Get pushchair ready while their eating. Then we're ready to go.

Thank you @kayteamay i get the uniforms and bags ready the night before anyway but will definatly start getting up earlier to give me more time to get organised and get nyself ready il also be stopping the telly as well because i must admit its a massive distraction for charlie x

@sara-lou im so not used to having 2 little ones so im totally unorganised right now lol when i had charlie skye was 8 so it was tons easier x

It's only been 4weeks, so you'll get used to it. I'm quite an organised person so I like routine & like to be prepared. But when Max was first born Morgan wasn't at nursery bang on 9am if I had slow mornings lol

When hayden was a newborn I was was constantly late at getting Amelia to nursery for 8am I just could never get into the nursery routine of getting her there dead on time when having a newborn to deal with lol 😁 so I change her tines for 9:30-5pm works so much better with me now as I get up before the kids and get myself ready then get hayden up stick him in his bouncer with his bottle of milk so he can drink that while I'm getting Amelia up and dressed x
