Hey mommas. I have a serious question. I know some of you might say to mind my own business but I'm really worried.

A couple months ago a couple moved into my apartment building and a little girl as well.. this little girl is maybe a year to two years old.. but I have seen this little girl once but I have never seen anyone come in and out of the apartment. Mind you they live right across from me. My husband tells me that this little girl cries bloody murder for about a good 30 mins like 5 times a day. And at night it's worse.. and it's not like she's crying when people are still coming in and out at night in the building , this is happening at like midnight or even at like 2am. My husband has also said he has heard someone knock on the door one time when she was crying but he never heard a conversation..

when she cries too , you don't hear anyone trying to comfort her or anything like that. I'm worried she's alone. .

All I'm asking is if I should leave it alone or call CPS just cause I'm worried about this little girl.. just for them to check up on her and the family to make sure everything is going okay... what should I do..

I would knock and ask if they need assistance. Once CPS gets involved it could get worse for the kid.
Just make sure your 100 % about how you feel. It's true CPS will start a case without actual facts.. Meaning someone can turn around and call on you. Good luck. @polancobaby,

I would call also. They won't say who called. Just be aware they might come to you just because you live across from them. It sounds like abuse. Maybe they wont feed her or leave her in the dark alone.

I would knock on the door and see if a parent answers if not then call and make sure she gets some help. You never know the situation it's worth your concern

It's anonymous to call, so I would just to make sure. And if she is being left alone that's so unfair to her. It's probably in the little girls best interest to be checked on

I'd call, just to make sure. In most cases like that its because the parents are drug users.

Personally I would call and have someone check up on her. Better safe then sorry in my book.
