I had a mom ask if I had my son circumcised...looking at her weird I said yes? And she blew up on me! Saying that I more then likely destroyed my sons life his body his choice so why could I make a decision like that for someone who is unable to consent....I told her off I told her Xcode me but he is MY son and I wouldn't if made that decision without researching and thinking it was best for him so when I I have a mom telling me I am wrong about th decisions I made for MY SON I will blow up right back at you!

Even tho i feel circumcision is unnecessary, the aap states it as a parental choice.. if you felt it was the right choice dont let them make you feel weird or bad.. you're doing an awesome job

@lilfree16, thank you! I respect those who decide not to have their sons circumcised and I don't tell them how wrong they are? I don't see why other parents must bash others for what they think is best! And thank you! He is my first and I always want to make the best decisions for him

Only thing that shoul concern another mother is child safety.. if the child is safe and loved who cares. :)

@mommy.to.sterling, there is seriously nothing wrong with it!! Like his body his choice! I let my fiancé make the decision and he said most males end up getting it as an adult and it's extremely painful! Why why not do it where he won't remember it?
