Hi 😊 I just found this app and I really like it alot so far! I have some questions. My due date was yesterday and my baby boy still isnt here. However, he will be arriving by Wed. for sure bc I will be induced. I am going to strictly pump instead of latch on. I had a lot of trouble breast feeding with my first. Has anyone else only pumped? Did your supply dry up faster? Any advice?
Iv never thought about hand expressing I will have to google information on it.
Any advice on how to keep my supply up? I had a very big over supply with my first
I dont have a choice unfortunately. I got very sick with mastitis with my first child which ended up with staph in my blood stream. I was admitted into icu for it a for a few days. My nipples burst so I will never be able to breast feed latching because there is nothing for the baby yo latch to.
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Breast pump covered by insurance
I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.

Today was the day I was Able to submit my order for my free breast pump! 😍😍.
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
My breast are heavy and full with milk but when I squeeze nothing comes out and when I try to pump nothing is pumped into the breast pump its like I have milk but its stuck and wont come out...any tips or help on this.. i really would like to breastfeed my daughter....
