So my brother an I have different views on first birthdays for babies. Should it be big? Or simple? 🤔

I made my sons huge, I don't even want to disclose the dollar amount 🙄 and I'm planning to make my daughters huge but their subsequent birthdays will be much more simple until milestone birthdays

I did kinda simple... made a Micky cake for after the trip in the Zoo with all the grandparents and special guests. It was awesome and he loved it

I know he won't remember it but I think it's mainly for the parents. We've worked so hard raising our human for the first year. Some of us it's our first time with our children. It should be special.

It's a big deal to us mommas but honestly the kid won't remember ... I went small with my first childs first birthday but at five I went huge!! He remembers his fifth like no tomorrow and each year I now let him help plan it!! @babyshreiner16,
