Fair enough. I didnt think i had any carrier tester places around here but when I went to glow the other day they have some that you can test so maybe you should try going somewhere to try them and then once you've decided on a brand then look for cheaper alternatives. Xx

@babybump0503 not yet as I don't even know what brand I should try getting, and I'm rubbish when it comes to bidding on eBay. Sounds silly but I hate doing it haha xx

Have you looked for second hand "proper" brand ones? My sister got me a k'tan on ebay it was brand new but it was bidding and she got it for 30 instead of paying the full 50 xx

@babybump0503 I don't know tbh. I got given two second hand but that have never been used, one's a carrier but there aren't any instructions on how to work the thing, and when I Googled how to work the sling it came up with it being a fake and unsafe to use. It also said to watch out for fakes being sold on eBay so now I'm just worried about what to get xx
