Yes, definitely look into those groups. My sister did research and said that if born, they can lead normal lives. She said they just look a bit different. I really hope that she's okay and everything goes well. You're pretty far along in pregnancy, so I hope and will stay positive that you make it all the way with your little one. I didn't experience it myself, so I can't offer much advice, but I'd definitely like to know how it all goes. ❤
Thank you! I'm currently 28 weeks. The specialists all say I'm passed the time where it usually ends in miscarriages, but it still scares me. She doesn't have the soft markers, but does have a large mass in her chest, which is a sign of a genetic defect. Her heart, brain, kidneys all look perfect and she doesn't have pockets of fluid. We have weekly ultrasounds to make sure the mass doesn't cause complications with her heart. I've read some articles. Many were positive about these girls being capable of living a great life. But I know not all are lucky. We see the genetic counselor on Wednesday. I need a little bit of hope to get me to that appointment.
Wish I could help. My sister was pregnant with my niece, Zoe, and she was diagnosed with it, but she passed in utero at 16 weeks. She did have an angel baby after and he's a happy and health 10 month old. I do wish you and your baby the best though. I believe my sister found forums with other moms of babies with Turner's. Try looking up some of those. ❤❤❤
