I'm feeling hurt and a little down. I had my LO and her dads family(my in laws) didn't help out with the shower, didn't come visit at the hospital even once she was moved to the NICU, when we got home nobody came past to check up on us or anything. Now my fiancé, his sister just had her son and now we have to throw a surprise baby shower, help clean her house and help with her bills.

Long story short I'm some what hurt but mostly pissed off. I had a complicated pregnancy after a second trimester miscarriage. I just feel so alone for being angry about this. I want to help but it's tearing me up inside.

So sorry!! That's really hard! this may sound totally stupid and my husband didn't understand at first but when I get really upset or mad, I write a letter! That way I know I don't blow up and I have time to collect my thoughts and I wont say anything I don't mean! That's the best way for me to cope with situations like that! That's hard though and definitely unfair to you! I would be hurt as well! 😢

@renee556, I haven't told him directly being that I know I would go off on him. Don't get me wrong I don't mind his sister that much but she also wasn't at our house helping use when we were down (which we still are.) I'm just angry enough to start a war! Lol

@miller13, I felt so hurt like wow I may not be related by blood but my daughter is and they all left her out. I already decided I'm not helping but I just need him to understand why I don't like this idea.

I just wanted to tell hubby like we got our own bills and the rest of y'all family always come through for her so she'll be okay. Lol

I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. My baby is 9 months old she has had a constipation problem since she was a baby she can not poop she tries and tries pushes and pushes , I can see how much it hurts her I have taken her to the ER today but what they did to her didn't help she hasn't pooped since we came back and when she pooped there it was hard ! I want to take her again but she's not in pain unless she's trying to poop . Is there a way I can register her to the hospital for them to see her ? I feel like taking her to the ER is if she's in pain and they won't do anything for her I want her to get seen and for her to be taken seriously . It hurts me she's my baby and it hurts me to see her hurting because of the poop. ;(

So over this feeling! Ever since I've had ds, OH and I have fought my mother on not wanting to give ds a dummy just cause we don't like them and find he self soothes. For the past three times my mother has had him, she has gone against our rule and given him a dummy and of course I spoke to her about it (that's all my knowledge on how many times she's done it). On Sunday we celebrated my stepfathers birthday and due to OH working I had to do it alone which isn't the thing that bothered me. The thing that bothered me was no matter what I said regarding ds I wasn't listened to. I told my mother to sit behind ds if she was going to sit him up on the floor as he hasn't got the whole balance thing down pact but she didn't and then ds falls and starts crying cause he hurt himself, I picked him up and my mother just came and took him off me! I told her he can't forward face yet as he is below the shoulder line in order to forward face but they did anyway. I get it's her first grandchild and she's excited but I never got to share the news about ds's first tooth or his first attempt at crawling to the family because she already done it. Yes I know, I probably sound petty asf! I had to repeatedly ask my mother to take me and ds home as he was tired and close to the over tired stage. On the way home ds fell asleep, luckily I was sitting beside him and looked at him cause he had fallen asleep and had his head facing down so I quickly grabbed his head and held it up till we got home.
