My 9 month old is teething. He goes to sleep at bedtime but wakes up 2 or 3 times through out the night and cries for like 30 mins. We are recently trying to stop breastfeeding because he bit me so hard I bled (a lot) he wants his Boobie when he wakes up and idk what to do.

@rhebee, lol! My right nipple is always cracked so I pump it for days feeding her on the left. Then I feed her to keep my milk up and it starts hurting again. She likes to gum at me and stretch with it in her mouth.

@rhebee, have you tried pumping and using a small enough bottle so you can still hold him like your breastfeeding only putting the bottle in his mouth and not your nipple?

Ouch!!! My son bit me but didn't draw blood. But it hurt. Have you tried nipple shields?
Could give infant Tylenol or ibuprofen. Talk to your doctor/peds doctor about the amount to give.
