About a hour ago I woke up to use the restroom, Went pee then went back to bed.. then about a half hour later I woke up and went again (Yeah I know, pregnancy problems lol) Felt like my bladder was completely empty and I didn't have to go again, But as soon as I reached for the Toilet paper uncontrollably something burst out and kept going and going for a good like 8 seconds. I wiped and went back to bed.
wasn't as yellow as normal pee, so had me thinking...
Was that my water?
I'm a FTM.
I'm not having any contractions (right now or since this happened)
my lower back is sore but that's it. I'm back laying in bed cuz I'm lazy lol.
I figured since my Ob told me if my water breaks not to go into L&D for 8 hours
unless contractions are 3/5 min apart.... That I would just wait and see.
I have an OB appt in about 4 hours anyways. I'll bring it up then, And of course call or go to L&D if I start having concerns.

Honestly it could be either one, if you feel okay and have an appt today I'd call now and see if they want to check you at the office or maybe at the hospital in case it was ur water they have the tests (don't know if the office carries them in sure they probably do tho) basically they swab it to see if it was amniotic fluid. I had something similar happen to me. Wasn't my water, it was my membranes "sweating" because the baby was so low putting so much pressure. Isn't pregnancy glamorous 😂

After I lost my plug my water started leaking. It felt like I was peeing every time I stood up and sat down. I ended up going in and doing an amniotic test. That's when I found out I was leaking. I had gone almost twelve hours like that and I started feeling contractions a few hours after that

I wounder why they told you to wait to come in if your water did break... sometimes your water breaks n you have no contractions. Thats what happend to be. I didnt know either i waited 19hrs to go in. I would say go! Otherwise theyll put you on pitocin. N shit hurts. I had to pee constanltly to. Go go go. Lol

My sister's water broke and she didn't realize it for almost two days since she had no obvious contractions. She thought it was just pee leaking out.

That's why I figured I would just wait till my appt, And they can do the test there. I'm sure they have it. I'm just taking it easy today. But either way we will find out what is going on at the appt. And @princess_xox , I don't have a clue that's what they told me at my last appt, Because average labor is over 24 hours for first time mom's, and they don't want me being in the hospital for the entire time if I absolutely don't have too.

Walk. Squat. Walk. Squat. Girl you do not want pitocin i mean i didnt. My babys heart rate kept.dropping. i wish i went in sooner so that i could be moniterd and dialte myself. My labor was 25 hours. Lmfao. Good luck! Keep us updated. @madisonmommy318
