Couple questions? What have been signs ur baby has an ear infection? What age did ur baby discover they had ears? My son has been happy eating and sleeping well I called dr Monday bc he is constantly playing with his left ear never the right I was worried bc it was sudden hubby says he discovered his ear and has encouraged him to play with right he did briefly but not really. I'm worried he could have something wrong but has none of the signs no fever eating lots sleeping better than ever and not fussy.

Yeah I don't know kinda makes sense though. My daughters problem ear is always been her right. She's bottle fed. But when she does eat her bottle she's always pulling at her right ear. We're going to see about going to a ear nose and throat doctor to see what they say about it. Because the fluid wont go away. Glad you got your little guy in today! @timsprincess0214, I'm sorry that's happening to ur daughter well I got up at 8am called dr got in at 11:15 and yes it's a mild infection that's why he isn't crying and has no signs if I would have waited longer than it would be worst he got antibiotic for 10days. I wasn't able to see dr bc his off day but nurse practitioner said even breast milk can cause the infection when Kelly mom says otherwise. Now that I'm thinking baby loves left boob he also pulls at left ear while nursing but not on right. I wonder if the fluid stays in ear when it's upward or downward if that makes since. Like water n ur ear u turn head to that side is it the same with this issue
My daughter kept pulling on her right ear and I took her to the doctor. They said she had an infection so she was on antibiotics for ten days. It cleared it up but last week she started to do it again so i took her back to the doctor and they said there is fluid building up but no sign of infection yet. The end result is probably going to be tubes. I wouldnt let it go though, they can loose there hearing if it goes to far. It doesnt hurt to get it checked. @txyogagirl,
An ear infection is caused by a lot fluid build up in the ear.
@aliakr, what did dr say? Is she breast feed or bottle fed. Kelly mom says formula can cause issues bc bacteria can form n ear but breast milk u don't worry my son is only breast fed. @loville1990, if my son has no other signs what's ur thought? What do u think caused the infections in ur baby
My son would always pull at his ear, high fever, drowsy, fussy all the time.

How was the procedure? Did it hurt the baby when it was done. How long did it take to heal.and did the baby eat right away?? Found out my daughter has it. And is going to be seen by a specialist soon. To get it corrected .never dealt with it so kinda worries me.
Before anyone says anything. I was right there with him it wasn't deep yes it has two little holes in it bc of our cat. But he loved the pool for the first time! The ones with his shirt off wasnt the whole time he was out there we didn't stay out long bc of not having sunscreen and it was 91°
