Try to stay calm sleep on your left side it helps with the blood pressure. I drank watermelon water Costco sells it but idk if they have it anymore I know Walgreens also had it.

@kmrogers1123, yes and they checked me with the 24 hr urine and blood panel. I don't have it but my blood pressure is elevated during pregnancy obviously.

@ayburkett, have you had signs of it?

My dr told me if I developed preeclampsia, I'd deliver no later than 37 weeks

Yeah that's what I'm hoping it just has me worried because it's the first time anything like this has shown up while I have been pregnant

Yeah it probably went up because you were stressed I had hypertension when pregnant with my son mine spiked once I did read watermelon helps with hypertension try eating some watermelon it may help and nice shower things that help you stay calm if it's not to bad dr will probably write you an rx and tell you when they think they want baby out but most drs like them to cook for as long as possible

@mcrowell0970,you had to do the 24 hour urine at the hospital? I get to do it at home have to go to the hospital Friday tho

@danielle626, yeah she told me today she wanted to have a ultrasound to check his growth and I'm like o he's big already because I'm bigger now than I was with my other two right before I had them. I also worried he's not going to have much more room to grow I'm small anyways.

I was also on blood pressure medicine

I had a ton of blood work done every hour, a special ultrasound I met with this woman who did an hour long ultrasound to try and get him to turn he was 7 pounds 13 oz. then I met with another doctor who said he has to come out now. The fluid around him was to little. Everything will be perfectly fine I actually had a really good doctor for both my kids he did both my C-sections and I never had any pain just remember if you have a C-section walking is key

@mommy2benntley, it was like 140s over 90s. When I came home my mother in law took it and it was 146 I think over 98

Yeah I had the protein in my urine and they sent me to the hospital and watch me overnight and I had to have special test done and I met with the specialist and they told me I'm having the baby and within the hour I had a C-section

O godsh. That's what I'm worried about, him coming early. But she has find a little bit protein in my urine at a couple of appts but today was the first time it came along with high blood pressure

Try laying on your left side with a pillow between your legs it helps the blood flow to the baby keep your feet elevated

My friend had both of hers at 36 weeks

@kmrogers1123, I had this I had preeclampsia I did the urine test more bloodwork the 24 hour test and the next day they took me and I had my son. He was breach so they had to get him out I had an emergency C-section

Since I'm already 32 weeks how early could he come?

Probably preeclampsia and if it is your son will come early just try to relax more you stress the higher your blood pressure will go which is bad for him
