1. The day he turned one was the day he got a full bottle of milk. We did the 2 oz transition weekly But I'm sure I could of done it cold turkey he prefers the milk over formula.
@beebaby, @blessed-n-proud8, @jessyleigh, thanks! Did you only put it in sippy cups? He still wakes twice in the night and wants formula in a bottle. Also, do they only get water and juice aside from milk once you start milk? He has a breakfast lunch and dinner but doesn't eat much, so I'm afraid he may not get enough throughout the day 😕🤔
I gave him milk ,juice, water, smoothies. They can have anything to drink. We did snakes between meals to help him since he was still one the three hour feedings at one. But I didn't use a sippy cup and I wish I did cuz it was hard to wean my son from the bottle but if he still waking up for a bottle I might want to keep the bottle
@beebaby, @jessyleigh, I've been trying to get him off the bottle, but he screams baba baba until I give it to him. And when he wakes at night, he will scream until he gets it 😩
@beebaby, yeah that's what I'm worried about is his teeth because he does the exact same thing! He doesn't even drink it all. Last night he screamed from 3-430, then I just gave it to him. His eyes weren't even open 😩 so with yours, did you take away the bottle all together at 6 months or just at night? I wanna do it differently with the second baby!
