Honestly sometimes I wish I were single. I have so many ideas on what we should do with our tax money like paying off debt, starting mutual funds for ourselves and our daughter, and being responsible. He's not concerned with any of it. He just wants to walk around with money in his pocket because "he's worked for it" ok well I'll feel accomplished when I have good credit, and nice car, and a house. Ugh I know your supposed to stand with your partner and help them grow but he's got a lot of growing up to do and we don't have a lot of time.

Give him like $200 from it to walk around with, use the rest to pay down debt. I would love to be debt free.

Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?

Lol he sounds like mine. He went to the store with $80 and planned on bringing some home. Then he's shocked when he came home with pocket change. I made sure I was in charge of finances for this specific reason so I get to do the taxes and decide their destinations.
