I took my sons temperature rectally and it's 100.2 is that a fever, and should I give him Tylenol?

Normal temp is 98.6 F (37 C), a fever is 100.4 (38 C). I'd call my pediatrician - make sure to keep your little one hydrated and I'd use cold wash cloths on the neck and forehead and see what the doc says.
