@jacesterlingsmommy @kellyl22 do either of you lady's choose a godparent for your children? In my culture you choose a godparent for your child's first birthday and then they cut the first strands of hair for goodluck.
No. We don't do anything like that. My family is Catholic and when we give baby a baptism is when they usually pick a godparent whom is under the responsibility to care for those children if something were to happen and both parents died. But my son isn't baptised so we don't have god parents.

Nope. We don't follow anything like that or superstitions. I think the God parent think is just for fun since it's not legally binding
