Any suggestions on how to get my baby to sit up on his own? He has a sitter chair but he's not doing it on his own. He's actually more focused on trying to crawl 😂
Physical therapists will tell you to avoid the chair. The baby has to develop their abdomen muscles on their own by crawling, rolling, practicing. My daughter will be 7 months next week and is just now starting to balance when I place her into sitting position.
He will sit when he has enough muscle strength. Let him practice crawling and he will get to siting - those come hand in hand. @babyshreiner16
Mine wants to stand too. His sister never really crawled either. He is trying to sit as well. Flips from belly to back, but not the other way. I think that's because he hates being on his stomach. Lol @raisinghazel
All babies are diff he'll learn eventually. My daughter has no interest in crawling only standing and walking. She still can't roll from being on her back.
opinions please ..
Kai has basically outgrown his moses basket so I was looking to get a crib until he's 6months and can go in his own room, some work colleagues have told my partner if he's outgrown the moses basket he might aswell be in his own room and to just get one of those sensors to put under his cot, I feel like he's too little to be in his own room though 🤔
what has everyone else done?
Why can't my almost 6 y/o wipe his own butt yet 😫 he's so behind in everything

He's pushing his own stroller around.
Ugh is my son ever going to walk !???!?? He's so scared to stand on his own. Every time I stand him up he starts sitting his butt down. He's 11 months on Sunday 😒
I had to get him his own diaper bag! He said he's not carrying mines it's looks too much like a purse!😂😂😂
It may be a little too early yet. My son didn't start sitting unassisted until almost 7 months old then he was crawling the next day. The biggest thing that helped him to sit up was I got him an activity cube for Christmas and he would play with it sitting up holding on to it with one hand. Then he eventually let go.
