Welp.... I just scared the poop out of myself by watching birthing videos. Is it to late to back out ?! Haha 😂 ugh I can't wait to meet my angel but I'm so terrified of the process 😰
Whaaaat yes enjoy the coconuts honey...unless you don't like coconuts lol
@belly1996, I'm trying to relax and not do that to myself I have my vacation to Hawaii in a week so that will help me forget that I scared myself over that lol !
Labor is NO JOKE girl but it is really worth it. And literally you almost forget the pain, like it's an intense moment in life and then once it's over it's over.
@mberjuste5, @jacesterlingsmommy, thanks ladies that kind of eased my mind a lot lol. I freaked myself out. I need to just relax and wait til the day is here
Also you should know everyone goes into labor differently. My water never broke. I never lost my mucus plug. You can also lose your mucus plug several days to weeks before going into labor so, no don't rush to the hospital. They'll send you right back home until you're in active labor. I was told go to hospital when contractions are 5 minutes apart for at least 2 hours. You'll know when it's time. Don't doubt it. You may need to be induced anyway too. Just all things that could happen. Either way your baby will be here hopefully happy and healthy.
It's over before you know it! As soon as baby is born you'll forget it all and focus on baby. When I was in labor time was like non existent. I had no idea what time it ever was. You can do it. Our bodies are made for this. I was super scared too but it wasn't bad at all. I'd do it over again in a heartbeat! I loved it! It's just something you have to experience for yourself and you'll see it was hyped up to be worse. I Promise!
Also theres a mucus plug that comes out too... Mines always came out b4 water breaking... Its whitish yellowish with blood in it and big ... When you go pee and wipe you see it.. Thats also a sign the baby coming soon so go rush.. My first one the water didnt break on its own the nurse made it.... My first one I was in the delivery room for hrsssssss literally hrs to the point they almost sent me home... Thank God THE BABY came shortly after them teling me bc first time being pregnant I was like just take the baby out of me lol the pain is like nooo other pain on Earth....
When that water breaks and the pain becomes every 8 to ten mins close ... Rush there asap lol
@mberjuste5, thanks so much! Ugh how do u know how long is enough to stay home ? I'm so not prepared 😂
Yeaaa the first time is scary!!! This is my 5th pregnancy soooo Im just waiting 2 get it over with lol.... I had all my kids no meds etc push them all out. One tip I can say is try to stay home for as long as possible b4 going to the hospital. Reasons:::: They wont let you eat and no juice etc just ICE and they want you to stay laying down while they have all these wires hooked on you. By staying home you can do small activities that can make the time go by fast. With my 4th baby I stayed home just right time so when I got to Hospital I pushed out quick and wasnt waiting for long. At home I dance a little and ate a little and took a water bath soak for hrs to ease the pain etc.... Sooo yea if you plan on not doing a home delivery and wait a while b4 going to the hospital, you dont want to be in their bed for 17hrs before giving birth to the little blessing from above!!!
@constancetinople aw thank you. That made me feel a little better. And I just read up on the hospital I'm going to and it's one of the top hospitals for maternity. And they are pro natural birth and seem very accommodating. I want to be as prepared as I can be without freaking myself out. But it's hard not to be nervous the first time I guess!
I was super scared too, but when it came time to have my daughter, i was so tired, and sore, starving and exhausted of being pregnant i was going to push that baby out no matter what lol and the scary feeling was replaced by determination. Because i knew the sooner i had her the safer she would be and i could finally hold her. This second time around, i can't wait to give birth Lol. you'll have your loved ones around you, and it's going to be tough but so wonderful when your baby comes out. Then the rush of hormones, you're just filled with awesome happiness. crazy how it all works. Don't be scared :)
@belly1996, I love coconut everything !!! My parents live there so we are gonna be eating so much
