I just barely weaned my 8 month old baby onto formula. Has anybody else had weaning affect their period, like make it late or skipped? I'm 9 days late for my period and not pregnant (just took a pregnancy test and it's negative). Was your period late or skipped after weaning, and when did it come back?
I'm trying to wean my 8 month old daughter off EBF to formula! How did you do this? My daughter isn't taking bottles at all and she will throw the bottle of formula if we try to give it to her and she will fuss!
I think the relation between breastfeeding and periods usually concludes to irregular periods. I got my period 2 months pp then skipped 4 months and got my period 6 months pp and I'm now getting them each month
I haven't experienced that since I could only breast feed for 5 days. But my best guess would be because of the hormone fluctuation ? Hormones play such a big role on our bodies. I'm sure everything is fine. I've had my period since 7th grade and it still to this day is irregular. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. 😘
Officially one day late...
I've just realized that I'm one day late for my period. I've been so busy with my son going to kindergarten and preparing him for t-ball, and getting my daughters speech therapy and preschool in order that I forgot my period was due this week.
Question! If I'm just ovulating today and my period is supposed to be due January 4th. Will I have my period on time?

This is NOT happening !!!!!!! I swear I had given up! But I'm 5 days late and I just got my BFP ???
Well guys my period is officially late... my sil started hers after mine and she started this morning. To afraid to take a test. Maybe it’s just late. 😩
I usually never make past 3 days late with my period. I'm on day 2. Wish me luck!!!!!!
@evasmommy623, my situation might be different. My baby was ready to go back to bottles. I say go back, because I exclusively pumped and bottle fed for the first three months before getting her to nurse. So honestly she was better with bottle than nursing. We had a good few months of nursing, and then she acted done. Sorry, I'm not sure I have good advice...
