What's too old to breastfeed? @kambam, my sister breast fed till she was 3 and it led to a lot of dental problems

@raquely, that's how I felt initially. But there were so many praises in the photo's comments, I felt like I was totally wrong. But I feel like once the new baby is out.. he should t have to share certain experiences.. and types of attention .. but like I said, this is my first baby and I'm still clueless on how certain things work

I stopped my middle child at 23 1/2 months I think it's a bit much past to specially if u have another baby unless they r twins or Irish twin they shouldn't be breastfeeding together

@raquely, ? Do they eat too? Or just breast milk ? My sister was finally weened at like 3 and her teeth were seriously f**ked. Years of teasing and dental work.. not to mention she didn't sleep in her own bed till my parents made me share a room with her

Its kinda just a cute way to incorporate her older and younger together. Kind of like a boobie toast to new life 😆 everyone will have a different opinion of whats "too old"

My rule is once you have teeth no more boob. I did end up getting my daughter off my boob at 3 month, when I found out I was pregnant with baby number 2. But only because the dumb receptionist at my ob told me I needed to because it causes your uterus to contract and I could go into pre term labor. Scared me so much, I started giving her formula.. to find out I could of kept breastfeeding my whole pregnancy I could of great Fed my baby until I planned to which was 6 months.

Ive breastfed my kids and once the reach one or a little over one its a no go. Its time 2 stop.

@lezlie527, that sounds right. I plan to stop at 6 months. Why do people breastfeed so long!? I was just reading about this lady who planned on breastfeeding her 12 year old until her body stopped producing milk......

I think this picture is beautiful @exoticyuri, u will get mixed reviews and agin go with what u think is right. I will say that pic of 12 yr old is weird. I won't bf my son till preschool but anytime past preschool is to old in my opinion for ladies saying 3 -6months stopping well I think that's not what's best for baby. Ask any LC they will tell u it idea to feed baby breast milk the first year of its life I said I will stop at 2018 which will be 15m but now that he is here I say we will stop when he is ready not when I'm ready. Tandem nursing is a big accomplishment for any mom bc they say it very had to bf through a pregnancy bc pain. I suggest u going the la leche league for not wi go on BF and they give free advise and answer question even have meetings also u should take a BF class asap
