Idk why, but im feeling uncertain about how much milk im producing. My breast use to feel full before nursing now they are soft. I hope im not drying up! Im determine to breastfeed Kenzie since I didn't with my 2 older kids.
Thanks @milestide25 @morganmommy79 and thanks @housfullofgrls if i have any other breastfeeding questions i will surely reach out
That is completely normal. Your breasts are regulating to the amount of milk your baby drinks. Dont pump before 6 weeks. It can cause Mastitis.
@mrs_spectaculus, they're not supposed to be hard unless you're getting engorged. If I go too long without feeding her I get a little hard. I'm still learning but I know that pumping only gets out some of your milk and is not an indication of what you produce. Baby always can get more out than the pump. I was told to pump after feeding the baby and not before.
Do not go by how much you pump!!!!!! I am a terrible pumper but have nursed all 3 kids successfully. How's baby's diaper count??? Your boobs are supposed to feel hard anymore, if they are hard you have too much milk in them!!! Message me with more questions
Ive only really pumped in morning if Kenzie slept through the night and didnt wake for a feeding. Ive produced 5 oz in one breast but again thts going the whole night without nursing. I haven't pumped after she nursed bc im scared i won't have any milk for her next feeding...if tht makes any sense @dylansmom
Good! Please do!
