Am I being ridiculous for being upset that he isn't seeing my point? I'm so exhausted and I know my body needs a good nights rest cause I'm so irritable and agitated and my body just feels run down. I love my daughter and I don't usually ask for help I try to do it all on my own but I feel ridiculous for even having to explain myself for wanting a small little break. My mom literally lives like 5 mins from me and she has EVERYTHING Dakota would need.

Not at all my mom takes my kids all the time I just never ask her to she tells me she's taking them lol luckily I also have 4 sisters who are around them all the time. I say let her go he will get over it.

Honey don't feel guilty for leaving your baby with your mother I do the same thing with my mom when I need a break or just to re energize and besides all that...happy mom happy baby

Guys don't know what we go thru as mom's just remind him you pushed her out you make the rules especially if you need a break my guy will say woo hoo alone time lol but if he is going to say what he did you give it to him mama you don't deserve none of that nonsense

He doesn't understand. He's actually being really silly. My child has never been away overnight but if I had someone I trusted he would be.

My mom finds reasons to get the baby. I'm EBF so she comes over and holds her after I feed her so I can shower or whatever. You are completely reasonable esp if he's not helping you. And what's he mean by you won't clean the house regardless?? And one night is not raising your child. He def don't get it. My husband don't really get it either. Does any man? Not really because life goes on for them and us moms do the sleep deprivation, the feeding, the up all night, the endless diapers... you deserve it. Let Mom help.

I don't think you're being ridiculous! You have just as much a right to a good nights sleep as he does! He isn't going to get up and cleans the house!! You have a lot of weight on your shoulders! You need a little break! It only becomes a problem if your mom has her all the time! Which like you said she doesn't and it's only a small break! I'd honestly tell him to shut his pie hole!
