Is it normal to have little tiny blood clots and bleeding after having a cervical check at 39 weeks?

It happened to me! Had her two days later at 37 weeks.

Spotting is normal, as for the clots are they mucousy?? Maybe your bloody show??

@shellbell0391, it's like bright red blood with yes kinda mucousy clots but they're tiny

I was 2cm and 50% effaced. Went to hsp not even 48 hours later and was almost 5 centimeters and 75% effaced

They started about 5-6 hours after my cervical exam. I started cramping bad about a hour after my exam though. When I went to the hospital they were very consistent.
