Hey mommies ! I have a weird question but I'm sure it's been asked before.. can sex cause me to go into labor and get contractions? Also wanna add that I went into preterm labor at 32 weeks, now I'm 35 weeks.

It never did for me but I think sex can cause contractions. Usually it won't put you into labor if your body isn't ready. But if you're high risk and your doc said no sex I wouldn't do it
Yes it can if you do have a history of preterm labor you should be careful. Avoid orgasms if it makes you have contractions and letting him finish inside.
an orgasm can release oxytocin. oxytocin is the chemical in your body that cause contractions. so yes it could cause contractions and make you go into labor. sperm also softens the cervix.
It never did it to me but I heard it's possible because the cervix is stimulated and softened by the sperm
I was slammin it multiple times a day trying to get myself into labor with both kids.. and both kids were over a week overdue. I guess it depends on the person and the favorability of the womb
