Y'all people are making me so upset. They are asking me to change the date of my baby shower to better fit the financial situation (monthly paid basis) for some of the ladies at my church. I am waiting until I'm 32 weeks to do it already. And baby will be born on week 39 via scheduled c-section. I picked March 25 to have it. I've had this date picked for well over 2 months and my whole family and friends know this date. I just sent the invites out to my church family today. I just feel like pushing it back to the first or second weekend of April won't work for me. I mean I get where they're coming from but should I have to rearrange everything for everyone else? Am I being petty or does this make sense?

@nicoclev that's how I feel too. I just want to be sure I'm not being unreasonable. 32 weeks give us enough time to finish getting things we need before the baby comes. And April is full of events already for us.

I've had my registry made since I was like 15 weeks and added more at 20 weeks when I knew the gender. If ANYONE tried to pull the "didn't have money" card I'll smack them. 2 months is PLENTY of time for people to save money.

@allyk.xmommy exactly. It's not my friends and family that have known. I'm thinking if you're paid on a monthly basis and are wanting to come but it's at the end of the month, then buy whatever at the beginning of the month and hold it. It's pretty simple.
