@kambam, omg yeah I would be scared of that too! I like vaginal delivery! I personally wouldn't want to do a c section unless it was an emergency

@kambam, so you didn't have an epidural? I don't think I could do it without one. I've heard about the "ring of fire" and after I had my son I had stitches. And my dr was taking them out and it burned so bad I couldn't imagine trying to squeeze a baby out and feel it!

Lol I probably couldnt handle any longer without drugs! It wasnt fun. 12hrs natural is lucky though still. The 4hr pushing killed me

@raquely, omg! That is so funny. I have a friend who had a quick delivery. I was actually standing outside her door. Like my ear was pushed up against the door. She pushed twice and I heard the baby cry 😂 I couldn't even imagine getting my son out that fast!

@whitneyp, I couldn't even imagine! The vacuum would have scared me! I probably would have cried! I hope one day I can experience a full birth where everything just kind of happens on its own, like water breaking and what not lol

@kambam, lol woah! That's fast! I think I kinda like the long labor tho lol it was a lot of anticipation and I got time to call my family that lives far away lol.

So I thought my water was leaking and I was 39 weeks and 5 days and I had an appointment and I woke up and it felt like I kind of pee my pants but there wasn't a lot and I was like okay when I went I was getting my water is leaking so she did a swab to see if it was in the other fluid and also she checked me and I was at 4 centimeters and then when she was back in her little lab think my water broke and I was like oh crap and so about 20 minutes after my water has broke I got really really bad contractions I was hungry so we stop by McDonald's and like I couldn't even eat it was so bad we got to the house and literally right when I shut the door I will stripping down got into the tub nothing was helping I was leaning over to puke into the toilet and then I got up and I use the restroom and I was just like a naked on the floor not like sprawled out but I was leaning up against the bed and it hurt so bad it was bad and my boyfriend Call the Midwife and she said okay will you guys need to come in can you time the contractions and he asked me and I was like no I can't it just constantly hurts and we got all our bags and we went to the hospital and it was only a 15-minute drive but it felt like an hour drive we got there got wheels in it was pretty intense and then I got into my room and they were like trying to set up because I was progressing quickly I was already out of 6 within that hour and then I was like I need something to take the edge off so they gave me Fentanyl and that just made me sleepy for like 5 to 10 minutes I was having peer back labor and they were trying to get the IV and but they couldn't they tried in three different spots blue two of my veins finally got hurt in the pit of my arm and then I like got up on my hands and knees and started pushing I took off the monitors I took off my gown I was done and I would have delivered her on my hands and knees but I felt like I was falling off the bed and so I got back on my back which made it 30 times worse and then they like okay you're doing good and I was like I want an epidural and she's okay with the anesthesiologist his on call because it was just a little Hospital in this town and I was like a cool and then by the time that they checked me they're like being you can't get the epidural and I was like alright I'm so I started pushing it was only pushing for 30 minutes and she came it at like 10 at night I was anemic and so I was bleeding pretty bad and I was shaking in there like that's just the drenalin I was like know something feels wrong and so she's like okay well you're bleeding a little more than we would like you to so we're going to have to stop to this they gave me two suppositories for my butt it was just super weird and then they found the bleeding under control I felt like I was bleeding a lot and I like no you're fine you're fine everything all My Placenta came out which was good they went to the bathroom and help clean me off I was up and walking in like 15 minutes for probably 30 after they tried stopping everything and then I went into the room I didn't sleep for 2 days I probably got about an hour to sleep those two days I stayed at the hospital because I was getting my blood drawn a lot to make sure that I didn't need your transfusion so I lost a lot but I wasn't showing symptoms of needing one and she was perfect like the first thing she did when she came out was pee on me which was really good cause she has kidney problems and so I was afraid that she was going to have a hard time going to the bathroom and when they were pulling her out she pooped and then when they went to go wake her again she peed again all over everything and it was just a nice delivery. Probably missed some stuff but that's the jist.

Everyone's story is so different! Mine is kind of a blur now, but I'll tell it as best as I can remember. I went in late on Saturday bc I thought my water had broken. By the time I got there, I was gushing. Soon after I was moved to a room. I was having good contractions but only 1cm dilated, so they started pitocin. I tried to rest through the night, but they woke me up at 7 to insert an interuterine catheter to monitor the contractions better. I got my epidural later in the morning and I still wasn't progressing. They gave a deadline of 4pm or I would have to consider a c-section since it would have been so long since my water had broken. They checked me at 4 and I had started to make more progress so they let me continue. Slowly but surely I go to 10 cm. By that time I was exhausted and had a hard time pushing since I couldn't really feel with the epidural. My dr finally came in and my sons head was huge, so she decided to use a vacuum to help assist with me pushing. Finally at 12:05 on 12/5 I got to meet my little boy. Unfortunately they had to take him right away. He had swallowed some fluid and was having trouble breathing. He spent s day in the nursery and was all good after that. It was a long and painful process for me!

Mine was pretty easy. 38+6 got contractions early in morning. By 8am my water broke and I went to hospital. Labored naturally till 4pm and then I was 10cm. By 8pm my little boy was out 💙

@kailey.gallentine, Wow!!!! lol I didn't get to experience the contractions before going to the hospital. I was induced (which I believe now was for a selfish reason:/) but that is still insane because I hear stories about women having like 20,30,40 hour labor lol I couldn't imagine going that long lol. Your little girl was so ready to come! And it's good that you walked it out! I feel that is like superhuman to do while having contractions! Makes me proud lol 😂😍

I was at work, I was 39 weeks and 1 day.

I didn't feel good so they sent me home early and I went home and took a nap. I woke up around 3 and all of a sudden around 8:30 pm I got a sharp pain but it went away so I didn't think anything of it. Then I started getting them like every 45 min but they weren't excruciating so I figured she was moving and hitting a nerve like the previous week. But at like 10:30 I couldn't take it anymore so I went to the hospital just to be sure and when they checked me I was at 4 1/2 cm. So they admitted me and I asked if I could go walking around the hospital so I walked for like 1.5 hrs and walked through my contractions. When I got back to my room they checked me and I was at 7 1/2 cm.

By then I was in a lot of pain so they gave me morphine and that literally didnt help at all. So like 10 minutes after I got back from walking my water broke and they took me into labor and delivery. They checked me and I was at 8 1/2 cm and I was so adamant about getting the epidural so once I got in the room they gave me my epidural and once they checked me after my epidural I was at 10cm ready to push. So my doctor came 10 minutes later. And after like 8 minutes and 5 pushes I had my daughter. My entire labor was 3 hours and 54 minutes 😂
