Gracie wont settle down for her dad and will only settle when im in the room or if i put her to bed.. anybody been in this situation? Any ideas what my partner can do to get her to settle for him?

I think a lot of Dad's fall into this scenario. As the mother we tend to do 99% of their routine. All he can do is get more involved. Do bath time, feeding time & bedtime more often & play time as well. My husband has very little patience but I guess that's a lesson & something we learn when we become parents.

He hasnt got that much patience if im honest @west94 but i think its because she's with me all day while he's at work.. ive told him he needs to try and spend as much time as possible to see if she will start to settle.. some good advice there tho al tell him to do what i do and stroke her cheeks thank you @west94 xxxx
Id say get him to try settle her everytime possible so that she will adventually settle quicker and get used to it, maybe rock her, stroke her nose, whatever you do to settle her perhaps would work best xx @graciesmummy
My daughter won't settle in her cot and will only settle if she's getting a cuddle on a night time. I've literally tried everything. She will not settle down no matter what and I have no clue what to do anymore. any ideas? xx
Hey so guys I'm so sad right now. My 5 month old is screaming. I gave her rice cereal and it's stopping her up and making her have bad stomach pain. I'm in the process of weaning her on solids. What do I do. :( stop giving it to her and try something more settling for her stomach.?
When did everyone allow their babies to sleep with them? Allaiyah is usually fine sleeping alone but because she isn't well she doesn't settle very well. And only settles with me next to her holding my finger🤔 At this point we are so tired and drained 😴
Opinions on hungrier baby milk? My girl is drinking well over 30 oz in 24 hours. I tried her with water inbetween feeds but she just won't settle in till she has milk as she's hungry not thirsty. She's awake like 18 hours a day 😭
I think so too @sara-lou i just dont like to put alot on him when hes been at work coz that can be stressful enough.. I think thats a brill idea.. she does like to play time with him as he makes her laugh but when it comes to down time and settling for the night she just cries until i get involved thats when he stresses.. your right he does need to learn to try n be patient.. thank you for the advice @sara-lou xx
