My daughter is taking off her diaper and taking me too the potty on her own and when she poops in her diaper she will go to the bathroom she's almost 16 months should I try to start potty training or wait a few months

She's obviously ready . Potty training takes a while. It's great that she wants to start now

Yes! Start! How exciting! I've been told as soon as they can sit up on their own try and start to train them.

@anmarie1, my mom did it with me and my sister. Once they can sit up, when you get up in the morning sit them on the potty . It obviously will take a little but it gets the ball rolling. Just a suggestion

@anmarie1, just depends on the kid. My daughter HATES dirty diapers. Even the slightest tinkle she gets mad. so in the morning I'll sit her on the potty, supervised of course, and she goes in the potty. Obviously she still goes in her diaper but it gets her used to going on the potty
