I realize the consequences of sleeping on my back with a 3lb 8oz baby in me. I really feel like I my hips and legs are trying to detach from my body π£
She should be absolutely fine. Like I said, I slept on my back all the time my first pregnancy and my son is fine. He is 2 yrs old
@allyk.xmommy I hope it didn't cut off her oxygen! I forget sometimes and don't realize I'm on my back till my butt starts hurting
Lol isn't it awful. That also say not to sleep on your back bc it can cut of circulation and cut off oxygen to baby. When I do sleep on my back I usually try to sit up a bit, but my first pregnancy i always slept on my back. So I'm not sure how true it all is
This is misinformation... They say that because later in your pregnancy if you lay on your back then the weight of the baby can compress a nerve and make you dizzy or pass out.. In which case you would wake up or know to change positions. A Dr would tell you that if you're fine laying on your back then the baby is fine. It has nothing to do with it getting oxygen
