Is there anything wrong with having my son sleep in his bassinet during the night but taking naps with me In my bed during the day? Will it make it harder for him 5 sleep in his bassinet? because lately he will not go down for a nap unless he's in my arms, and I'm exhausted.
They say you shouldn't let a baby sleep on you because then they will only be able to sleep on you and nowhere else. They have to learn how to self soothe otherwise you'll have to hold them every single time they need to sleep. But your son is still so little so it's understandable since he's so little. Better to break the habit now rather than at 5 years old

Every baby is different but I say do whatever works for you, especially for the first 3 months or so. My daughter sleeps in a cradle at night and then during the day she either naps on me or in her crib. She sleeps great in all three places, and that is what works for us. There's really no right or wrong, as long as you and baby are getting some sleep!

There is never anything wrong with it but yes it can make your baby want to cuddle you more.
Instead of buying a bassinet could my baby sleep in a pack and play beside my bed or a rock and play,until I feel safe with him sleeping in his crib in another room? I see no need in buying a bassinet when he will only be able to sleep in it for a few months anyways. No rude comments! 😀
Why does my child not sleep at night? He naps great during the day, but as soon as we get into bed he has his eyes wide open and has no interest in sleeping.. I'm so tired 😭
Okay mommas, this is our second night home and little Ryder refuses to sleep in his bassinet. I’ve tried swaddling, feeding him before bed so he isn’t hungry, tried 3 different pacifiers, laid him down awake and asleep. Any ideas?? I just don’t know how else to get him to sleep in his bassinet and not in my arms at night. ** I had no problem with my other two boys laying in their beds but Ryder refuses to leave me.**
WOULD YOU RATHER... 1. Have a baby that naps during the day and won’t sleep at night. 2. Have a baby that won’t get any naps during the day and sleep all night. I’d go for #1 lol
reading online it says a 4 month old should be sleeping around 11 hrs a night. mine barley sleeps 7.... and wakes up frequently for feeds... why???!!! how come my baby doesn't need sleep?! he'll nap around 4 hrs during the day If I'm lucky. but I read they need between 4-6 hrs of nap during the day. so he needs 4 more hours at night!!!

My daughter takes her naps with me or at least I put her to sleep but at night she has a bottle and goes to bed on her own
