I am so tired of gender stereotypes. I don't care if my son wears pink or has an item that's pink. IT IS JUST A COLOR. I call my son beautiful and gorgeous. It's NOT just a female description.
If he wants Barbie he will get a Barbie. If he wants army men he will get army men.
I am raising my son the way I want. I'm so tired of people telling me I can't do or say something because he's a boy. He's MY son.
@twinmommabellahali, Pink clothes are just fabric that is made into something a baby can wear. I see no problem in it at all. But yes, I'm not gonna listen to what they say. If my son is happy I'm happy. 😊
In Indian culture, baby boys have pink everything. I always thought it was odd but it's just a color. My daughter got pink everything and I'm just reusing her toys and gear for the twin boys. Maybe for clothes not pink but that's just my opinion! Don't let anyone tell you what to do.
@santistevanmommie, Exactly! Buy whatever. I bought a changing pad and it's gray and pink. I wasn't paying attention. But who cares? It's to change diapers 😂
@santistevanmommie, Dumbest thing is that it's my 14 year old sister and mom telling me I can do it. Like stop ✋
I feel you. If my daughter wants cars or a jersey or something. I'm going to give it to her. I don't feel like it's a problem with them wanting something that's "for the other gender". It's all the same. It's annoying to hear people say "they are going to be gay like that". Things don't make someone gay. If you are that way than you are going to be that way no matter what. And so what if my child turns out that way it doesn't bother me so it shouldn't bother you. I will accept it.
