My son uses The First Years sippy cup. Its spill proof. The way I got him to get off the bottle was leave water in his cup and just keep offering it. He would refuse and I would just let him cry. One day he ended up just taking it cause he had no other choice.

@selenaramirez1120, I still let my son have his sippy cup at nap. I give him the softer top ones (the nuk ones) all the time now during he day, so at nap time when I lay him down if he's fighting sleep, I just give him the sippy cup and he usually falls asleep easier. :)
If he has a dry but, has his sippy cup, and doesn't need anything but is crying...I have to just keep myself busy to distract myself. Cause I know he just wants to get up but he NEEDS a nap (momma needs him to take one too haha). So I just let him cry it out (or sometimes he just plays in his crib) until he falls asleep. I just listen for his cries and make sure he's not hurting or anything ya know?
It gets easier. 😊

Ok, crazy! I was googling some because I decided to go to the store and I took a screenshot of that NUK sippy cup. It looks perfect to transition him. Thanks girl! Any tips on actually doing it for you? Like I feel like it's going to be harder for me then for him. He's used to sippy cups but he's used to his bottle when it's time for a nap. How do I handle the crying when he's wants the bottle and not the sippy?😩😩 @nlecureux,
