@kellyl22, This baby was not a planned pregnancy, but I don't want to go through another miscarriage or feel I caused it.

And if you do Google to need to make sure it's a credible source... Just because that's the biggest thing on the page doesn't mean it's right. It looks like it's from a site called stylecraze.. It says it can cause abortion? The only thing that can cause abortion is you walking into a clinic and asking for one.. I think it should say miscarriage so there's no reason to trust anything this says

@aprilhearts, you know, it's been so long - I don't know for sure, but I've been cruelty free for 5 years, so, I bet so! Have you had your first appointment yet?

@jennatess, Thank you so much for answering. Did you eat it in your first trimester?

Speak with your doctor. If it was really serious, I'm sure it would be listed in the "avoid foods" list they give you at your first appointment. I ate lots of eggplant while I was pregnant, being that I'm vegetarian.
I asked my doctor multiple times if he was absolutely sureeee it was okay. He said as long as I was only eating it once or twice a week - and that's what I did. He told me that it was really only a concern if I was eating it twice a meal more than 3x a week. But, it would be best to talk to your own doctor. To ease your mind though: you had one portion/ helping. I wouldn't worry myself sick over it. ❤️
