My sons fathers girlfriend just messaged me saying that they are filing for custody of my son and demanding a DNA test…

I don't understand why tf she's even calling you she needs to mind her own business. She can't demand shit! I'll block her and him and live happily ever after with my son. You should save each and every message that she sends you and show it to a lawyer say she's keep bothering you

@toriaaaaaaaa, exactly how I feel and I've saved every conversation this is a constant thing. They don't even take care of the child they have together so it baffles me that she is being so spiteful when I've been nothing but respectful

Omg that irritates me 😒 my boyfriend son mother is one spiteful female she recently tried to fight me because her son likes me and wants to move in with us😹 I'm telling these 2017 females are the dumbest things walking! I'm so annoyed with people.

If you file for child support though they can go for custody. My best friend refuses to go for child support because it can then give him the right to file for custody and the money to her isn't worth it if that means he can see her (he's been in and out of jail her entire life)

I'm sorry you're going through this. I've been going through the same thing with my sons dad for three years now. He has not paid a dime in child support and he continues to stress me out trying to get custody of my son who he hasn't seen in years.

I think they're just trying to do or say anything right now to get to you because you want him to pay child support. In their minds they're probably just thinking about the money and not about how you need it to support your son. When I bring up child support to my sons dad he pretty much does the same by threatening that if he's gonna pay child support he should get to take my son and I don't want that. @singlemommabear,

Does your son even see his dad? Spend time with him at all?

Ya the fact that he practically has never been there for him but wants to threaten to file for custody does not make sense because if he really wanted him he would be there regardless. Don't let him worry you. You have every right to ask for support from him because he is obligated to support his child. He, however has no right to try to take your baby from you . Go get a lawyer of you don't have one already. The court won't give him full custody since the baby has been with you the whole time. If you breastfeed make sure to tell the judge that.

Theyll run a dna test if u file for child support if he didnt sign the birth certificate. The most a judge could do is give u guys shared custody... Butt u can say ur concerns about them taking care of their own child, plus let the judge know if u breastfeed and most likely ull end up with majority of custody...savee everything they ever write u...good luck hun

@diyonna, thank you ! And believe me I am. As for the DNA test I knew that they would since he didn't sign it , but they way she said it was as if there were plenty of options of who could be my sons dad. But I'm gonna do what's best for him at the end of the day 💙

In the end there just going to look stupid, butt child support sounds like the best way to go...their threat could be an empty one or they could really try to get custody...then again u could just offer your babydaddy time with ur son...thatll show a judge that ur not holding ur son hostage or anything
