My husband's aunt just yelled at my step daughter because she introduced me as her momma not her step mom. She is 8 almost 9 if she wants to call me momma let her! She should not be punished for seeing me as a mother figured. Of course I'm not trying to replace her mom. I really do love her.

my stepdaughter (she is almost 8 calls me mom too. her mother has a problem with it as well as her family but my husbands family says there is nothing wrong with it. i have been in her life since she was 1 i treat her no different than my biological children she is mine and the love we share is beautiful. some people just don't know what it is like to have a loving step parent and be close to them. don't worry hun what they say you know your place in that little girls heart and she loves you💞 people who have a problem with it should deal with it and accept it because it will never change😙
