So I'm wondering if anyone is putting cereal in babies formula yet ? My baby is going on 4 months…

We started cereal at 4 months, but our doctor told us to not put it in his bottle because it's easy for him to overeat that way. He was eating much more than your daughter though.

We had to make cereal because I HAD to go back to work and she refused every bottle under the sun so it was one of the only ways to get her and breastmilk- but mixing and feeding like cereal.

Yes 6 months to introduce solids.. new studies have shown that it can cause later on in life... also cereal in bottles are a choking hazard sweetie.. i wouldn't reccomend doing that. And that's perfectly fine their tummies are small still.. even with breastfed babies we dont go past 4-5 ox every few hours.. maybe give 3 oz of formula.. he's at the growth age..

My son was eating 8 Oz every two hours at 3 months so I started cereal in his bottle because he wouldn't take it by spoon and still won't to this day but I had to start cereal with him young because he was always hungryn
