Well.. I'm sitting in front of my OBGYN office an hour early before my appointment... I thought the traffic was going to be worse then it was lol... I should of brought some nail Polish and I could of done my nails while I wait for my appointment lol.. I'm getting my sonogram done today... I was supposed to get it tomorrow but I'm going out of town for 5 days so I needed to get it done today and luckily they had one time to be able to come in today! Thank God! But I can't believe the appointment is going to be 45 mins long! Does anyone know why this appointment takes so damn long???

If it's your anatomy scan, those take a while. Or is it your gender reveal?

@alanasmommy2016 it's to measure his back to see if he's got any sign of a certain spin disorder.. what's an anatomy scan? Sorry I'm a new mommy so I don't know everything yet lol

That's when they go through and point out the arms, legs, kidneys, heart, basically every part of their body. They takes tons of pictures for you to and that's when I found out the gender of my daughter.

O wow I'm like dying to know the gender! I asked if there was any way they could find out the gender today and they said no its to early.. and I'm like grr why can't u just try and see if u can see what the gender is Cuz ik other moms found out this many weeks lol @alanasmommy2016

My best friend found out at 14 weeks. I mean there's no harm in looking. This was my girls. I was 18 weeks

I would ask them if they could at least look and see what it looks like. I mean, they might as well if you're getting a ultrasound anyways.

Ikr! That's what I said to them and she was like it's to early but that was just the lady that was on the phone.. maybe she was just being a pain in the ass lol @alanasmommy2016

Yeah the sonographer might do it for you since they're the professional anyways

The reason they wouldn't tell you is because they could be wrong this early
