Please please please buckle your precious cargo in their car seat correctly! It gives me chills seeing loose straps and/or the chest piece way too low.
You shouldn't be able to pinch any strap material up by baby's shoulders and the chest piece is supposed to be just that, on the upper chest.

We're having mixed emotions about the new car seat...is it just me or does it seem too loose on her stomach...the straps are tight on her shoulders and the chest clip is right up against her chest BUT the straps are about an inch from her tummy...is that ok ?
son getting out of car seat
So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. Okay . My son has been dragging his chest strap down for the last two days . Has anyone else had this issue ? He’s literally so strong . How can i stop it or fix it or something? . I literally had to pull over 3 times in a 25 min car ride to fix it
