Every one parents dif .i am sure your doing your best and being the mom of 3 kids that i am ..they do act dif when the other parent is around..

I was told I'd be able to get things done around the house if I let him him cry it out. But because I pick him up when he cries now he's used to it. He's a month old.. he cries for a reason. BUT I ruined it is guess. @sherrynygirl

No you didn't! Pick him up as much as he asks for it! You are doing it right ... i took classes and read enough books and even my doula - all agree that you can't spoil a one month old baby! A one month old baby doesn't act manipulative! He acts based on instinct and you should not let him cry it out - he is too young to even remember you put him down 30min ago! If he cries it is for a reason . By 3-4 months that is when they start connecting crying with picking up! Just go though why he could cry: hunger, diaper, gas, feeling alone etc.

My little one cries even on his back bc he needs to burp after 30min laying down 😅 I picked him up and he sounded like a grown up lol

That's exactly what I thought.. he's crying for a reason, he's too little to be left. He's had a tummy ache and has been crying non stop for almost 3 days, so when he finally falls asleep I keep holding him, because if I move to put him down he wakes up. I'm the one that wakes up tonfeed/change him. I take care of him all day by myself.. but my SO is going to try and tell me how to do it apparently

Haha 'crying out' is old school! The NR nurse who came to my house even explained that babies develop stress cells if you let them cry it out - that is a development that shows later in life!

There is a difference in crying like you explain (I had the same issue, I changed my diet bc I breastfeed) and a complain cry bc he wants attention ...

Yep I'm breastfeeding and trying to figure out what I ate to bother him. His belly is so upset, he's uncomfortable, and yea I'd want to be held to.. uhg I'm so frustrated and sad. @mi.mommy

Try gas drops or you can lay him across ur kness and just patt him on the back ! Or what else you can do is put his knees to his chest so he can either fart or poop that always works w my baby when she's like that

Burp him as much as you can and a warm bath with a belly massage afterwards... bicycle kicks and a lot of love ❤️
