Question! So this is my second baby. But for #1 I was induced at 39 weeks, had a few Braxton hicks here and there but nothing really painful and maybe 1-2 every few days. I'll be 37 weeks Thursday and the last few days I've been having painful contractions several times a day. I would 2-4 times a day I got through maybe 30 mins of contractions. I wouldn't say they are like the big ones I had during labor with my daughter but on a scale from 1-10 I'd say they are a good 4/5. I have also had a major increase in discharge. Soooo my question- is this normal at almost 37 weeks ? Is this a sign I may be going into labor sometime soon ? When I was included at 39 weeks last time I was not dilated at all- so I was kinda expecting the same thing this time. Anyways - just curious!

i had 2/3 of my children at 37 weeks, and one at 41. my 41 weeker had me dilated and contracting for an entire month. it could really be hit or miss
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
Having some pretty intense constant lower back pain and maybe super light contractions. But can't tell because the back pain is way over powering contractions so I'm walking around my room to see if they get worse.
I got the balloon inserted at 6:45pm and it's now 2:40am. I slept for a few hours but am now just laying here awake. I was bummed because the last time I was in labor and had the balloon, I was in so much pain with the contractions, I was up all night.

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@mommab4, that's kinda what I was thinking! My sister in law did this for several weeks and still was induced however that was with both hers. This is so different than my first but I guess ya never know! Lol
